Many thanks to Paul and Sarah Hale.  As well as getting the spindle out, they picked up the bits and dropped 'em back the next day.

There again, without the help of Ian and Andy I'd still be in a fix.

This weekend was spent making a new seat base and fitting my new seat.  The old temporary wooden block base wouldn't have gone down too well with the MOT tester.  A job which would have normally taken me a few hours has taken all day thanks to this 'ere bloody accident injury.  Still, if I was well I dare say I'd have been off over to Cleobury Mortimer and the bike show there.
