Friday April 1st - and I take the BRUB out on the appropriately named "April fools run" with the guys from

the Midland Bullet Riders forum.  A scenic run along the back roads to Carsington water, a nibble and a cuppa,

then carry on to Ilam.  A grand total of 114 miles, and the BRUB managed a very respectable 67 mpg.

This weekend was the first time in seven weeks I didn't have my dinner at a cafe - poor show.
