Oh I do like to be beside the seaside.

Wednesday.

Another milestone reached. Took DOT on a run to the coast. Dinner at the Ponderosa, then an ice cream at Colwyn Bay. Carried on to the top of the Great Orme, then back via Betws Y Coed, Blaenau Ffestiniog, Bala, Hellfire Pass and Lake Vyrnwy. Popped in at the Park Inn on the way home. Eight mile short of three hundred - so I know I can now spend most of the day riding the trike.

Sunday

Another beautiful sunny day. Took the BRUB up to the Raven Cafe for the big breakfast meeting. Andy took the Ducati. The place was rammed - met up with a few faces. We then carried on to the Ponderosa for dinner, and once again the steak and kidney pie was on top form. We were going to look at the steam railway at Llangollen, but could not find anywhere to park - the place does get popular when the sun shines. Took a walk along the viaduct at Trevor / Froncysyllte, and had the obligatory ice cream. Took a couple of photographs of Tong church before filling up with petrol { 140 miles - 10.37 Litres = 2.28 gallon. 61 mpg } All in all, a 161 mile trip on the BRUB
