Tuesday and I fit new clutch plates to the D14 - only to find the clutch basket was broken . . .luckily I bought a spare at Uttoxeter a few years ago.

The car went to live up in Wilkes Street for a couple of days whilst Crabtree Close was getting a new road surface.

Friday and the long wait for my compensation is finally over - the cheque arrived today.

Maybe now I can get on with what passes for the rest of my life.

Didn't do anything over the weekend - rather too wet and windy to venture out.
