The B31 is all happy again following a new big end, rebore and piston, and a pair of new tyres.

Bank holiday Monday saw three bikes heading out into the Peak District . . .only two came back under their own power.

The battery on Andy's Starfire gave up the ghost completely - it wouldn't even start my bike which does not have electronic ignition.

A video of Monday's run can be seen HERE.

Tuesday and the B31 got put back together, and it started first kick.

Wednesday and it was DOTs turn to go out - dinner at the cafe.

Thursday and I went shopping . . . .for a camper van.

I'm now the owner of a Mazda Bongo . . .but it won't be ready for use until around November.

Friday and the TCT went for MOT - passed with no problems.

Sunday and the B31 went on its first "long run" . . .first the Touchdown Cafe at Wellesbourne, then on to the Rollright Stones.

The bike ran well, but I noticed a rather strange noise whenever I kicked it over - sounds like something in the primary side - I'll check when I get back home.
