Nothing says "Welcome to Ypres" more than a giant disembodied tap on a traffic island.

Monday and rain stopped play - it did clear in the evening - just in time for the club wreath to be laid at the Menin Gate ceremony.

Tuesday saw a bit of banjo mayhem in the "Old Bill"

Wednesday and I bump into a lift engineer from Concept - small world and all that.

Thursday - coming back from "The Times" someone managed to walk off the path and ended  up in the pond. . . . . . I've been sworn to secrecy about who it was.

I'm sure your mouse will find the name GORDON somewhere on this line.

Friday and I did  nothing - the others had ventured to a pub in town which was too far for me to walk.

Saturday - I decided to come home a day early.  No point in staying on the site all day.

Sunday and I took the B31 up to Clay Cross for "British Bike Sunday"    Called in at Matlock Bath for dinner on the way back.

Saw more scenery today than I saw over the last seven days.
