Just to prove that sometimes even BSA Gold Stars get wet.

Monday was a day of rain - managed to change the oil and filter in the Bongo.

Tuesday and more rain - I went and sorted the ignition on a 350 Triumph.

Wednesday was cancelled due to rain.

Thursday and the speedo for the Guzzi came back from repair.

Fitted it, and all is now well again.

Friday was spent carb fettling on the TCT - seems a new carb may be the only answer.

I can't complain, the current carb wasn't new, and I've done nearly 80 000 miles on it.

Saturday was a bit more carb fettling - only this time the engine refused to start . . . .

. . . which was a tad awkward 'cos I was a mile away from home.

Ended up with Andy M steering it, whilst I was towing it with DOT.

Sunday and I took the Goldie up to Clay Cross Motorcycles for their "British Bike Sunday" event.  -   MAP

The Goldie managed to win an award - 5th place out of the 10 bikes in the final line up.

Of course, we just had to stop and have dinner at the Riverside Chippy in Matlock Bath.
