DOT taking the Bantam to go and live elsewhere - I am now Bantam-less.

Monday and I went and collected the speedo for the Guzzi - fitted it and went for a test ride.  It still has the same fault.

Tuesday was spent fishing.

Wednesday and I took DOT and the bike trailer with the Bantam on board and headed down to Witcham

I called in at Jack's Hill cafe for dinner on my way home.   MAP

Thursday and I took the Guzzi up to Wakefield to collect a carb for the TCT.

This was also a good long test ride for the Smiths speedo - which works fine as a speedo, but the odometer fault is still there.   MAP

Friday was spent buggering about with that speedo - in the end I just had to walk away.

Spent a bit of time helping Andy M fit the new electronic ignition on his MZ - at least that worked.

Saturday was another day spent sorting speedometers out.  It would seem this new Smiths clock doesn't work.

I fitted it to the B31 to test it and as soon as the engine starts, the speedo needle goes all over the show - and that's before you even move.

I fitted the Daytona speedo that I'd bought for the Bullet onto the Guzzi - it works just fine.

Sunday and it was off to Dom's Bike Stop for dinner.

On the way back I had to remove the Guzzi battery and swap it over for the battery on Tess's Honda . . . which wasn't charging.   MAP
