The A65 rolling into Clun on the hottest day of the year. . . . thanks to Chris Instone for the photograph.
Monday saw me at the dentist - all biting equipment in good order.
Tuesday and I swapped the faulty Smiths speedo for a Daytona.
Thanks to Jon at Digital-Speedos.com
Wednesday and the TCT had a "bit of a moment" when it refused to re-start after cutting out on the A5 at Cannock.
Eventually it fired up. Did a bit of carb fettling, and I think it's now sorted. . . . time will tell. MAP
Thursday and the hottest day of the year. I took the A65 to the coast - and managed to get a bee up the sleeve on the way.
Friday was spent recovering from that one extra pint of Three Tuns at the bike club last night.
Saturday and I took the primary side off the Goldie - the gearbox loses oil when on the side stand.
I fitted an SRM sprocket nut with an integral oil seal - left the bike on the side stand overnight and it was dry in the morning.
Sunday and I put the primary side back on the Goldie, then headed for the cafe in Andy M's car 'cos it was raining.
