The "Stainless Steel Tree" ( which is really galvanized ) at St. Michaels, near Tenbury Wells. . . . . . and a couple of old motorbikes too.
Monday and Tuesday were lost due to lack of interest in anything - there again, I hadn't got anything to work on.
Wednesday and I borrow a Tow-A-Van in readiness for collecting the lathe tomorrow.
Thursday and it was up to Shrewsbury to collect the lathe.
Then running around buying bits to make a dedicated lathe moving trolley,
Friday and I made the trolley and tested the lathe.
It ran fine until I tried reverse . . . . .and the motor windings went bang.
Well it was a Hoover a.c. motor from 1956 - - - there's a new three phase motor and an inverter on order.
Saturday saw me buying a new fan heater - I did wonder what the burning smell was last night.
Sunday and the Bullet went off café racing ( well - café crawling really )
