Ugly Grub Ball.

18th - 20th July

        Once again it looked like a fair few Moonshiners would be making the twenty mile or so journey to the Grub's rally.  For one of our long time acquaintances, and ex member, Gaz, it was his first rally for ten years.  Welcome back, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

    In true Grub's style, the evening went well.  The beer wasn't exactly overpriced, and they did have a few different ales to sample.  Folks tell me the band and disco were good - I'll take their word for it.  I'm afraid I don't venture into crowded, noisy places these days, come to think of it, I've never had a liking for such things.  The dark bought a few creatures out, as you can see below.

   I said a fair few of us made the journey - well, it seems we won club turnout.

        There we have it.  A most pleasing local rally.  The Grubs did us proud, as per usual,  the weather wasn't at all bad, and we even found a decent cafe in Atherstone.  All in all, a good weekend.
