The TCT and the TCT . . . . . .Tiger Coloured Trike and Tiger Coloured Trailer. . . . . . about to venture into Wales.
Monday and DOT's radiator starts playing silly buggers . . . anyway, it was curry time at the Yew Tree later on.
Tuesday and DOT's radiator goes to West Mercia Radiators - who tell me it's fine and doesn't have any leaks.
Wednesday morning and there was a pool underneath DOT.
Rode over to West Mercia to show 'em the leak . . . .bone dry, no sign of a leak at all.
Thursday and still no sign of a leak. I drained the system and added my antifreeze.
I left DOT with a sheet of cardboard underneath to show any drips.
Friday and it was turn of the two TCTs to go away for a few days - down in Llandovery.
Saturday's main event was dinner at the Owl's Nest Café
Sunday and I got back. ( Calling in at the Kabin Café for dinner ) Opened the garage only to find a great pool of water beneath DOT.
I made a pressure testing rig and put 25 psi of air into the rad - no bubbles at all when submerged in water.
The hoses were fine. What I did find was the rubber washer beneath the drain plug was split. . . . . . . A silly thing, and I hope that was the cause of all the hassle.
