A flock of Iron Chickens  -  the BSA Bantam Club's national rally   -  time for a pint at The Barley Mow, in Upper Heyford.

Monday's most exciting event was a garlic chicken curry at The Yew Tree.

Tuesday and I gave the Goldie a well deserved fettling after the Cornish holiday.

Wednesday saw me taking the A10 to the weekly bike meeting at Hoar Park, oh, and dinner at The Food Stop Café

Then it was off down to Banbury on the Goldie to collect at Todd head for the Bantam.

Thursday was another day of bike fettling - and just about missing the horrendous rain later in the afternoon.

Friday and it was off to the BSA Bantam Club's national rally, held this year at the Bloxham Steam and Country Show.

Saturday was spent keeping well out of the sun - it was a tad warm on the rally field.

Sunday, the heat and dust was a nuisance, but by seven o'clock I was back home.
