Symonds Yat Rock view point - L - R Steve, Andy, Jonathan, Me, Richard and Graham . . . . .next stop, The Silver Fox Café.
Monday saw me assessing the damage to DOT's front wheel. Looks like the bolt holes will have to be filled in and re-machined.
Tonight's curry was at The Spinney.
Tuesday and I dropped DOT's wheel off for welding, then it was off to Newport in the Bongo to rescue a
CX trike which had suffered a rear axle failure - dropped it off in Wolverhampton.
Wednesday and I repaired the wind damaged awning for the Dog Kennel.
Ark Racing came and collected the A65 - it looks like they may have the correct belt this time.
Thursday, and despite being the best day of the year so far, I never went out.
Did manage to buy a new pair of shoes though.
Friday and the A65 came back home. Time to give it a test ride then.
Just local first - all of two miles to Stone Cross and back . . . . then a 114 mile round trip to Ludlow and back.
No issues with the drive belt, but the clutch could be better.
Saturday and once again I take the A65 out on test. I did managed to run out of petrol.
Brekky at "Dragon Soul Bikers Coffee Shop" - a cuppa at The Midway Truck Stop
Sunday and it's more miles on the A65 . . . . this time the bloody gear lever fell off.
Brekky at Sally's Place - dinner at The Silver Fox Café
I'm tempting fate, but it looks like the drive belt issues are now fixed.
