I'm now in Heartlands hospital for a while - at least the food's better.

Here's the diary again.

Rowley’s answer to this was to send me to the A&E department back at the Met. L  They took a look at the toe and said “This needs a vascular team, we don’t have one here”  Really, at a new teaching hospital ?     They sent me to Heartlands – where their vascular guy took one look and said “That’s a blood blister” – and promptly discharged me from the vascular unit.

Saturday 1st February. Right, I’m now in Heartlands.   All they did here was very similar to Rowley – only the physio team were better and the food far better J  It must have been better ‘cos my weight went up to 85Kg – 13 stone 3, or thereabouts.

I stayed there for a while, then they told me the best folks to sort out this mess were at Good Hope Hospital.    So I was booked in for revision surgery on February 14th.
