Over at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham - a bit of a wasted journey really, but then again, time spent riding is never really wasted.
Monday was a long day - a drive down to Ammanford, in South Wales, to deliver the Guzzi..
Got back too late for curry night, I didn't bother with going to the Beehive either.
Yes, the Guzzi has been sold. I'm still not able to use my left leg with enough confidence to safely ride it.
Tuesday and it was over to the Royal Orthopaedic where they managed to tell me nothing because the
Q.E. hospital hadn't sent the bone scan images and report over.
Went to Machine Mart later and bought a new compressor - the motor failed on mine last week.
Wednesday was cold and grey - so I never went out.
Thursday and it was over to Poolehall in the Bongo, calling in at Villiers Services on the way home
where I bought a small end bush - or what I thought was a small end bush.
Friday and despite my plans to do other things, all that got done was my shopping.
Saturday and it was a productive kind of day. I made a tool to remove the hardened washers in the Bullet head.
I then turned the small end bush I bought on Thursday . . . . only to find it was a gearbox bush which had
an oil groove running down its internal bore. Ah well, plan "B" buy a Gold Star bush and see if I can make that fit.
Did a bit of security camera moving just before the rain started.
Sunday was sunny, mild and dry. So it was time to take the Boom on its first outing of the year.
Dinner at the Kabin, then over to Ludlow Farm Shop for sausage and bacon {also coffee and cake}
