With a new piston, a re-bore, and a few other little odds and ends ( small ends especially ) the Enfield Bullet is back up and running - don't know if I can physically ride it yet though.
Monday saw the A65 fire up - it may need a new battery.
It's too high for me to physically get on, so there's no rush.
Curry at the Jolly Sailor, then a pint at the Beehive.
Tuesday was a day of various little jobs. The TCT clutch pedal is now about five inches longer.
The Drifter headlight no longer rattles. The Bullet head has a new decompressor.
The Goldie petrol taps are being switched over . . . . and the Bantam went to the BSAOC meeting in Willenhall.
Wednesday and I took the Bantam to Poolehall for dinner.
Managed to fall off the bike before I'd even got on it.
Thursday and it was off to Craven Arms, and the Station Café.
Ludlow Farm Shop next . . . . and then someone broke the M5
Friday and it was off to Wednesfield in the Bongo to collect the Enfield barrel.
I should have done it yesterday but got stuck on the motorway for too long.
Saturday's big event was putting the Enfield back to running order.
Sunday and although it was dull, it was dry.
So it was off out on the Drifter for the day.
