January

  1.    January 5th -  Having a bit of a lie-in . . . . apparently my surgery went well . . . .let's  wait and see shall we ?

  2.   January 12th  -  This might not be chronologically accurate, because as I keep saying, all days are the same in hospital

  3.   January 19th  -  Hmm, that don't look right.

  4.   January 26th  - I refuse to be sent back home.

    February

  5.   February 2nd  -  Oh look - I'm in another hospital

  6.   February 9th  -  More of the same.  Dressings changed - more physio work ( although I will be starting from scratch again soon )

  7.   February 16th -  Out with the old - in with the (temporary) new.

  8.   February 23rd  -   Oh dear, I appear to have a blood clot . . . . . this is the leg that just keeps giving.

    March

  9.   March 2nd -  It looks like I'll soon be back in Heartlands. - - time for a sausage butty.

  10.   March 9th  -  Ah, so that's what it looks like.

  11.   March 16th - Home - after four hospitals and 83 days.

  12.   March 23rd  -  That's my first week done . . . . .commodes get delivered . . . . dinner gets cooked. . . . hard drives fail

  13.   March 30th  -  Legs swell up . . . blood gets taken . . . tech gets fitted . . .more tech gets fitted . . . .don't eat too much sorbitol. . . . clocks get altered.

    April

  14.   April 6th  -  Cubby holes get cleared . . . carriers get made . . . fishing tackle goes . . . my foot is all healed up

  15.   April 13th  -  I take my first ride this year . . . cafés get visited again . . . . DOT just might be a write off . . . . cafés get visited { Poolehall Café  -  the Kabin Café  -  The Witch on the Water tea room }

  16.   April 20th  -  I can get in the Bongo . . . . I go look at some trikes . . . .televisions decide to fail . . .  cafés get visited { Poolehall Café   -  The Witch on the Water tea room }

  17.   April 27th  -  A whole week of doing next to nothing. . . . . not so much as a café.

    May
