January

  1.   January 1st.  -  Might as well start as I mean to go on and take the trike[s] out for a run.

  2.   January 9th  -  Feeding time again.

  3.   January 15th  -  A wet, windy, weekend in Wales.

  4.   January 23rd  -  A bit of fettling and a bit of feeding.

  5.   January 30th  -  Cafe and curry house - sounds good to me.


    February

  6.   February 6th  -  We go to the  "11th Classic Japanese & Modern Classic Motorcycle Show & Jumble"

  7.   February 12th  -  A 112 mile test run for Andy's MZ . . . .plus a few cafe stops.

  8.   February 20th  -  A bit of Drifter fettling & cold but dry Sunday run . . . .to the cafe of course.

  9.   February 27th  -  The Drifter hand change is finished . . .Malvern show . . . and the cafe . .again

    March

  10.   March 6th  -  Uttoxeter bike and car show . . . and the cafe . . again.

  11.   March 12th  -  Birthday - bikes - beer - bacon and eggs ( caution, contains cafes )

  12.   March 20th  - The Mike Hailwood memorial run . . .and we end up at a cafe.

  13.   March 27th  - The Wistanstow classic bike show . . . and a cafe.


    April

  14.   April 3rd  -  The "April fools run"  . . .  and a cafe-free weekend.

  15.   April 11th  -  Oh I do like to be beside the seaside - features more than one cafe.

  16.   April 17th  -  Chasewater show - no cafes, but an ice cream was eaten.

  17.   April 23rd  -  The BRUB goes Welsh - cafes were involved - several times.   


    May

  18.   May 1st  -  The BRUB goes out with those Midland Bullet riders again - this time the cafe count was two. 

  19.   May 7th  -  The BRUB meets a Lancaster bomber, and yes, there just happened to be a cafe there too.

  20.   May 14th  -  A weekend away at Matlock Bath - featuring at least six cafes, a few pubs and a large steam engine.

  21.   May 22nd  -  A night down the 'Dashers, and a day at the cafe.

  22.   May 29th  -  Stanford Hall - steam trains - a cuppa and a slice of cake.   


    June

  23.   June 4th  -  The return of the B33 - the BRUB goes to the Peak District - Oatcake brekky at the Windy Ridge cafe.

  24.   June 12th  -  Sunshine, showers, side stands . . . . . and a cafe.

  25.   June 19th  -  When legs go bad . . . . . no cafes, but hospital food does make an appearance.

  26.   June 25th  -  Who needs Botox ?   . . . . still more hospital food.


    July

  27.   July 3rd  -  The Bullet makes a welcome return - Uttoxeter classic Japanese show . . . .  and a new decent roadside cafe.

  28.   July 10th  -  A pair of B33s and an MZ head off to Millmeece . . . . .  and we find a new cafe to enjoy.

  29.   July 17th  -  Single cylinder goodness . . . . and yet another new cafe to add to the list.

  30.   July 24th  -  The Grubs Rally & Founders Day - two events, two singles and one cafe "The Victorian Tea Room"

  31.   July 31st  -  The Bullet does a lot of miles - Andy sprints the "Starcati" - a much loved cafe reopens.


    August

  32.   August 7th  -  The best laid plans of mice and men . . . . . not even a hint of a cafe this weekend.

  33.   August 14th  -  The Starcati has a slight problem at Darley Moor . . . . . I was eleven miles short of the Windy Ridge cafe.

  34.   August 21st  -  A 200 mile run on the Bullet . . . . .  including dinner at Dom's bike stop.

  35.   August 28th  -  Papplewick steam pumping station . . . .then Matlock Bath . . . where we stopped for tea.


    September

  36.   September 4th  -  A week of riding, fettling and feeding . . . . especially feeding.

  37.   September 11th  -  Cleobury Mortimer show . . . .and a visit to the cafe.

  38.   September 18th  -  My flywheel changes colour . . . The Bullet goes to Bakewell . . . .and a sit in chip shop.

  39.   September 25th  -  The Bullet and the Guzzi get a good long run. . .  We see the Guzzi's guts . . .cafes a plenty this week.


    October

  40.   October 2nd  -  The Guzzi lives up to the "Gambalunga" name tag . . . . the Silver Fox cafe makes an appearance. 

  41.   October 9th  -  DOT gets some new shoes . . the Bullet goes to the SVR . . .we feed in the Food Stop cafe.

  42.   October 16th  -  The B33 goes to play with some steam engines . . . . .dinner at the Mainsail Restaurant.

  43.   October 23rd  -  The Cotswolds play host to a B33 and an MZ . . . . dinner at the "Flag and Whistle" tea rooms

  44.   October 30th  -  Three Counties Showground . . . . . .  and dinner at Quatford.


    November

  45.   November 6th  -  DOT frolics in the Autumn leaves . . . . . I do not visit the cafe . . . . { but I do go for a curry later on }

  46.   November 13th  -  The Bullet goes just over the Welsh border . . . . .  then heads for dinner at the Raven Cafe.

  47.   November 20th  -  Dull and grey, but us "adventurous" types still take to the road . . . . . .which leads to the cafe.

  48.   November 27th  -  Autojumble time at Malvern . . . . .  dinner time at Quatford.


    December

  49.   December 4th  -  A week of doing nothing, going nowhere . . . .and not so much as a hint of a cafe.

  50.   December 10th  -  No cafes this week, but we did descend locust-like on the food at the "Sunshiners" nibble night.

  51.   December 18th  -  We take the engine out of a Suzuki 750 . . . . . and go for dinner at the Quatford cafe.     

  52.   December 25th  -  More on Andy V's engine autopsy . . . . . . Christmas dinner, as opposed to the cafe.
