2014

January

  1.   January 5th  -  Here we go, another year.. . . . . the D14 gets dismembered and spread about the garage . . . . .horror of horrors THE CAFE WAS CLOSED.

  2.   January 12th  -  My hip is one year old . . . . .more Bantam fettling . . . . the MZ gets prepared for a right foot shift . . . .at least the cafe was open.

  3.   January 19th  -  The D14 bits get taken to be coated & plated . . . .  the MZ gets a working right foot shift . . . .the Bantam goes down the cafe.

  4.   January 25th  -  The MZ becomes road legal . . . . the D14 parts go for coating and chroming . . . .too wet to venture down the cafe.

     

    February

  5.   February 2nd  -  More fettling of both the MZ and the D14 . . . . feeding at the Sanam . . . . the seaside gets a visit.

  6.   February 9th  -  Most of the week was spent dodging the rain . . . . .and fettling the D14 . . . . and fettling the MZ . . .  with a bonus spanner thrown in.

  7.   February 16th  -  A trip to Bristol . . . . and news of possibly another trip to Bristol . . . . I go and look at our rally site . . .and a cafe.

  8.   February 23rd  -  My blood gets tested . . . . .I go and visit a "tree zoo" . . . .the BRUB gets an MOT . . . .a bike show at Telford, followed by . . . .the cafe.

    March

  9.   March 2nd  -  The TCT starts smoking . . . .the TCT stops smoking and goes to the cafe . . . DOT comes home with a shiny exhaust system.

  10.   March 9th  -  I go to Bristol - again . . . . DOT goes to the cafe . . . .the B33 wins a trophy . . . and the sun did shine.

  11.   March 16th  -  The MZ gets a new fuse box . . . . I become a year older . . . the D14 chrome bits come back . . . our club rally - warm and sunny all weekend.

  12.   March 23rd  -  More fettling on the D14 Sports . . .I go back to work ( I wish ) . . .the B31 goes to Wistanstow . . .  and a couple of cafes. 

  13.   March 30th  -  The TCT gets a bit of speedo fettling . . . . an AJS dynamo get fettled . . . Summer time begins and the MZ goes for dinner in Wales.

    April

  14.   April 6th -  The TCT gets wet . . . the B33 goes out for dinner . . . technology fails . . . Andy Vernon's band, "Buzzard" release their first album.

  15.   April 13th  -  We say goodbye to Joe . . . send in the clones - oops . . . .the BRUB goes for dinner, or not, as the case may be.

  16.   April 20th  -  The TCT gets a microphone shoved in some strange places . . . the Bullet takes to the hills . . . the Bantam takes to the cafe. 

  17.   April 27th  -  The TCT goes to see some boats get a lift . . . . DOT gets hot but not bothered . . . the "Bike 4 Life" ride out goes past.

    May

  18.   May 4th  -  The TCT gets a bit of fettling . . . . then goes to the seaside for a few days. 

  19.   May 11th  -  The TCT gets up in the air . . . .the MZ makes for the cafe.

  20.   May 18th  -  I get my water meter fitted . . . . I take a look at life 90° from vertical . . . . the B33 goes out for Sunday dinner.

  21.  May 25th  -  A bit of fettling . . . .a bit of feeding . . . and that's about as good as it got.

    June

  22.   June 1st  -  The BRUB visits a strange bridge .. . . . the 30 Bobber gets a bit of fettling . . . the TCT runs around the peaks . . .     R.I.P   Windy Ridge cafe  

  23.   June 8th  -  The B33 gets an MOT . . . .I venture down by the river . . . the B33 goes out for Sunday nibbles.

  24.  June 15th  -  The B33 gets dismembered . . . I set up a new security system. . . . .the B33 gets put back together - and still makes an odd noise.

  25.   June 22nd  -  The B33 gets dismembered - again . . . the trailer gets loaded . . . . I end up "Gadding about in foreign parts" 

  26.   June 29th  -  I return from foreign parts . . . beer was drunk . . . sausages were eaten . . . seas were crossed . . . .873 miles were covered.

    July

  27.   July 6th  -  I dry my camping gear . . . . I think about going fishing again . . . the B31 starts knocking ( it's coming out in sympathy for the B33 ) 

  28.   July 13th  -  The car gets moved . . . . I do the washing up . . . the B33 gets new main bearings . . . the BRUB goes out for dinner.

  29.   July 20th  -  The B33 gets put back together . . . . the B33 gets taken apart again . . . . the BRUB goes to the Ugly Grub Ball.

  30.   July 27th  -  The car gets some new tyres . . . .the Bantam ventures into Birmingham . . . . I return to Ockeridge lakes . . . the Bantam goes for a cuppa. 

    August

  31.    August 3rd  -  I go to Harley Street . . . . my Drift Ghost HD camera comes back home . . . the B33 gets very wet . . . . .I set up camp in Porlock.

  32.   August 10th  -  I relax down in Somerset . . . .the B33 gets fettled and I get fed . . . .the B31 is banished to the "naughty corner". 

  33.   August 17th  -  DOT gets some new brakes . . . the TCT gets to breathe easily again . . . the B33 goes out for Sunday dinner. 

  34.   August 24th  -  I get examined in Birmingham . . . I finally receive an interim payment . . . DOT and the Dog Kennel have an outing.

  35.   August 31st  -  I get examined up the Wirral ( Ooer Missus ) . . . the B31 gets dismembered . . .the B33 starts blowing bubbles. 

    September

  36.   September 7th  -  The TCT grows dim - then grows bright again . . . .the B33 goes 'oop North . . . the Bullet goes to Wales. 

  37.   September 14th  -  Fish were caught . . . .trailer tents were bought . . .camshafts and springs were fitted . . . .trailer tents were tested and packed away.

  38.   September 21st  -  Tyres went flat . . . . Flaming Pigs were eaten . . . . I get bit "OUCH" . . . . the B33 goes and meets "Mad Mike"

  39.   September 28th  -  Fish were not caught . . . .I go back to work . . . the D14 gets new tyres . . . fish were caught . . . . the Bantam goes to London. 

    October

  40.   October 5th  -  Fish get caught . . . the B33 gets two extra teeth . . . the Dog Kennel gets fettled . . . the B33 goes up some hills. 

  41.   October 12th  -  I get sent to Coventry  . . .  I get sent to Bristol . . . my right leg hurts  . . . curry gets eaten . . . . the B33 goes for Sunday dinner. 

  42.   October 19th  -  It's a gas . . . . the B33 goes to see an iron bridge . . . . the B33 gets all steamed up. 

  43.   October 26th  -  The D14 gets a shock . . . .clogs are popped . . . .bikes were shown.

    November

  44.   November 2nd  -  My water turns cold . . . . my water turns hot again . . . electrics were sorted, amongst other things . . . .the Guzzi goes for Sunday dinner. 

  45.   November 9th  -  Wires were fitted . . . Sunday dinner was eaten. 

  46.   November 16th  -  I visit the crem. . . . I visit the crem. again. . . .I get "terminated" . . . DOT goes for Sunday dinner. 

  47.   November 23rd  -  More sorting out of paperwork . . . too cold and wet for Sunday dinner.

  48.   November 30th  -  Computers get sorted . . . I venture to the bike show . . . .the TCT goes for Sunday dinner. 


    December

  49.   December 7th  -  I move a camera . . . my oil tank ends up in the kitchen sink . . . fires get started. 

  50.   December 14th  -  Letters get delivered . . . .trees get pruned . . . tyres go flat . . . . the Bullet goes for Sunday dinner. 

  51.   December 21st  -  one of my fans let me down . . . .the Guzzi goes for dinner . . . the car goes to Dorset . . . the D14 gets a few wires.

  52.   December 28th  -  the Bullet has a visit from Santa . . . the Moonshiners have a ball . . . . I have a nose around Donington.
